Fire protection water is taken from a pond through an intake structure with piping that terminates in a wet pit. The fire pump is a 2,500 GPM @ 300 TDH, 130 PSI, 1760 RPM vertical diesel driven fire pump. Peerless model 16HXBF – 3 stage vertical UL listed and FM approved. The pump driver is a Cummins Diesel Model 6CTA8.3F3 Diesel Engine rated 294 BHP @ 2112 RPM. The underground yard main is 4,100 feet of 10 inch C900 PVC pipe.
